My interest in SDS Forth Valley stems from having experienced their valuable support first hand when supporting a family member with their support package. I understand the anxieties families have when going through the assessment process and have learned that knowledge is power in these situations. My driving force in being on the Board is to ensure that the support available enshrined in the legislation is well known to people through engagement with our organisation. I wish to bring my unique experience of administering a 24/7 support package showing that with the right support at the right time can be life changing.
